Adding a custom name to your trust
With FreeWill's Revocable Living Trust tool, you have the option to name your trust. Naming your trust allows it to own property.
How to add a custom trust name
- Login to your FreeWill account by selecting 'Login' in the upper right-hand corner of the FreeWill website
- Scroll down to the section 'Your Estate Plan'
- Select 'View/Edit' for your Revocable Living Trust document
- In the top navigation bar, select 'Basics'
Once you've clicked the ' Basics' section, you will then click through each page by selecting 'Save & Continue' in the bottom right corner until you're brought to the 'Trust Name' page.
After you've added the desired name for your trust, you can click 'Save & Continue' to save your changes and move on to the next step. Once you’ve properly completed the process of adding a custom name to your FreeWill trust, then the custom name will appear in the PDF documents where the name is called for.
